Description
This is something that may never happen for me again and I was so happy to have been at the right place at the right time. While I was sitting along the beach, watching the Surf Scoters, this Horned Grebe popped up right in the shallows of the lake in front of me. I have never seen this bird before, he was so calm with me sitting there and we spent a bit of time together as he would swim back and froth in front of me, on the hunt for some fish.
